Website looks great!
My name is Donna Morris and I wanted to take a few moments to thank you for your page (http://triangledac.org/resource-center). Lately, we have received many more inquiries into the various issues surrounding seniors from both seniors themselves and the loved ones caring for them. I have been tasked with doing research and compiling information and resources for these great people.
It’s really surprising to see just how many issues face these people in what should be the Golden Years of their lives. It has really given me incentive to do what I can to help. I found this page during my research which was a great reference and I wanted to share it with you:
Senior Safety: Caring for the Ones You Love http://www.housingforseniors.com/Assisted-Living-Facility/Senior-Safety—Caring-for-the-Ones-You-Love-344.html
I hope this page can add to yours and that you wouldn’t mind adding it; as an intern, it would be a good way to show that my work was worthwhile. Thanks again for your page and the resources!
If you or anyone is interested in hearing about Fair housing laws they should come to the Orange County Senior Center Homestead Road, Chapel Hill, NC 27514. 11 AM to !2. Speaker James Davis, Civil Rights Investor Orange County.
Disability Awareness Council is a voice to everyone who needs to understand the barriers disabled people face, and to learn what we can do about it. This kind of advocacy is admirable.
