Don’t miss this training opportunity to learn new strategies for improving the transit experience for passengers with disabilities, to develop an action plan to expand on existing programs for orienting and assisting persons with disabilities, and strategies to enhance fixed-route service for the persons with disabilities.
The program will include:
All transit operators, supervisors, and administrators concerned with excellence in customer service for disabled passengers should plan to attend.
- Understanding and Identifying to passengers with disabilities;
- Rights and responsibilities of transit systems/passengers under the ADA;
- Strategies for orienting new customers in transit, employment housing, healthcare, other and assisting those who currently use public services eg transit and paratransit;
- Ample opportunities for discussion and sharing of ideas and strategies.
